The Shipment
I received a big shipment at birth
When I got older I saw what I wanted
Plenty of food for it
I will never run away from it
I will never stop it from speaking to me
Movement is what it does
Moving me through life's rough terrain
I want it
I love it
It's mine
Everything I am is contained in this crate
It's a part of me
It IS me
It's why I think
Why I feel the way I do
It's the reason why I'm still alive
My soul is in this crate
and the crate is me
I hold it within and I'm nothing without it
My soul
I'm so happy I have one...

@PPhilip - I like your philosophy on this.
Hmm thinking about whether or not I am a crate or a barrel man is just myself speculating about the store Crate and Barrel.
Today's barrels can be made of steel or plastic and usually a liquid is contained within. Feeling zen I would prefer to think of myself as fluid.
A crate can contain fillers to protect the contents within. A crate is what usually a variety of objects is enclosed. I suppose someone put some poetry and instruction manual within your crate and you were able to use most of the tools that you had included.
I think the soul probably occupied only a small part of the crate and later grew to great proportions afterwards.
@sleekpunk -
What a great perspective thinking of yourself as a package (your soul as the contents).
@ctaretz - You're welcome man.
@RighteousBruin - Thank you, and so are you my friend...
@Chosen_Defined - Thank you very much.
Good piece.
You are lucky to have it.
